About

Hi there - My name is Sarah and I love staying fit and active as I age, so I'm still able to do all the fun things in life, like climbing, dancing, hiking and even gymnastics too!

I am that crazy person in the kids' playground doing handstands with my daughter, hanging from the monkey bars, or having a go on the balance beam!

When I had my second child, my son, I was already 40 years old, and although I felt I had stayed "reasonably" active, one day I was in a yoga class and realised just how much weaker I had become. I used to easily be able to do handstands and headstands, but suddenly just pushing up in to a bridge was a struggle, and the headstand was a complete no-go. I felt stiff, weak and wobbly, and it was a bit of a shock.

However I refused to buy in to the narrative that 'it's just all downhill from here', and set about truly focusing on myself again. Something we often feel guilty about. But I realised we should never feel bad about prioritising our fitness and health, as it is the absolute key to enjoying a long, happy, active and fulfilling life! Cue a second career change to Personal Trainer, and a commitment to help other women do the same. It's never too late to get back on track, and get stronger than ever. Follow along with me and I'll show you how!
